GCLs With Geomembranes
Geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs) are manufactured by needling or stitching in Tinhy’s own factory with a layer of sodium bentonite or other low-permeability materials like geotextiles and geomembranes to form a durable hydraulic barrier.
As per environmental laws and regulations, any seepage from solid waste landfills must be collected properly to avoid the contamination of surrounding groundwater which may lead to major environmental problems. Our GCLs will take a great effect on the anti-seepage projects of any landfills because of low hydraulic conductivity.
The high-expansion sodium bentonite is widely applied in Geosynthetic Clay Liners, as it can effectively play an essential role in watertight or anti-seepage projects of landfills. Generally Speaking, a fully-prepared GCL construction is composed of two layers of woven and nonwoven geotextiles held together sandwiching a layer of natural or processed sodium bentonite. As for Tinhy’s GCLs with Geomembranes, the polyethylene or geomembrane, or geogrid geotextiles layers can also be applied in a textile layer to improve the power of strength.
Geosynthetic Clay Liners(GCLs) With Geomembranes can be effectively applied in landfill applications as bottom liners for waste and leachate containment as well as cutoff walls. Geomembranes mingled with GCLs would increase their strength to form into a durable hydraulic barrier, which are able to replace the conventional compacted clay liners and apply in many anti-seepage projects. These GCLs With Geomembranes can also be used for the anti-seepage applications of reservoirs, landscape lakes, underground infrastructures, etc.
