Strengthening Industry–University Collaboration for Sustainable Growth

On June 11, 2026, more than 150 faculty members and students from the Polymer Materials and Engineering Department of the University of Jinan visited TINHY GEOSYNTHETICS CO., LTD. for a practical training and industry-learning program.

This educational partnership has been maintained continuously for six years, serving as an important platform for industry–university collaboration. Through hands-on learning and technical exchange, the program helps bridge the gap between academic education and industrial practice while cultivating high-quality professionals for the geosynthetics and environmental engineering industries.

Exploring Innovation at Tinhy’s Provincial R&D Center

During the visit, students and faculty members toured Tinhy’s Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and the 1,500-square-meter Geosynthetics Application Technology Research and Development Center.

The center has established a complete innovation chain covering fundamental research, technology development, product commercialization, and engineering applications. Through this visit, participants gained valuable insights into the latest technological advancements, research methodologies, and industrialization processes within the geosynthetics and containment materials industry.

The experience provided students with a deeper understanding of how scientific research is transformed into practical engineering solutions that support environmental protection, infrastructure development, and sustainable resource management.

The delegation also visited the company’s exhibition hall, where they learned about Tinhy’s development history, technological achievements, industry certifications, and diverse product applications.
